I always feel a little like an old screen starlet when I wear my trench coat after months in heavier layers. There's something about when I first put it on with a bit of red lipstick and curled hair that reminds me of Casablanca and Audrey Hepburn in the rain and general glamour--of course the glamour of the coat wears off the more I wear it and it begins to feel like just another layer. Briefly though, there's the stuff of old movies shining in my eyes, even if I am wearing a cartoon print dress featuring the most random and amusing assortment of doodles underneath it...
