Todd Baxter's photo series Project Astoria: Test 01 looks like a Wes Anderson version of dystopia. In some near-future world following a strange apocalypse or societal deterioration we will wear retro knits in primary colors with sweet badges and only the most curious animals like tapirs will still exist. We should not fear this future but embrace the proof that yetis do exist and the newly pastel-light that fills our atmosphere. All kidding aside, it is a very striking series that lingers on the mind. His attention to detail and ability to create complete narratives only using images is quite compelling.
