I am one of the least coordinated people and summers spent at home rather than camp means I lack some of the cool (if random) skills of my friends--like Kate who's pretty awesome at archery and often has this old bow and arrow set hanging over her bed. She was kind enough to let me borrow them for a photo set and she even brought a small picnic of drinks and fruit as well as attempting to give me instructions on the proper stance; a summer evening definitely well spent! I thought my ear cuff and studded sandals might make me look sort of tough and warrior-y but the full, feminine skirt might have ruined the effect, if my "am I doing this right?" facial expressions didn't. Still, you can call me Artemis.
