Kathrin Kuhn's richly layered collages are a treat for the eyes. She manages to mix busy patterns from vintage magazines to create detailed collages that mimic illustrations; while the results could end up dizzying her work still reads as actual interiors--instead of a mess of patterns the eye still deciphers a scene. These works are from her two series, one titled "Housewives" and the other "Estate of Mind" which is an attempt to recreate visions of rooms people had in their dreams.
