My housemates had some evening hang-outs on our roof over the summer, but for some reason I have rarely ventured out on to it. The other day I was admiring the view from the window leading to the roof and thought that with all the houses near us sprinkled with snow it was quite a pretty sight and decided to venture out for a set of pictures. The snow feels like a rather permanent part of the landscape at the moment and it's rather hard to remember hot summer nights when longing for a breeze made a rooftop hang out so appealing. My neighborhood does look decidedly more festive blanketed in snow and viewed from above.
