Photographer Dane Shitagi photographs ballerinas in unusual environments (like urban New York streets or Hawaiian waterfalls) for his "Ballerina Project" series. Like flowers blooming between cracks in the sidewalk, there's a pretty juxtaposition between the graceful dancers and their unlikely settings. Dane Shitagi has been photographing ballerinas for twelve years now and has more than 1,000 images for the series taken anywhere but on a stage.
