I will never be sold on the "winter wedding" for myself but a wintry engagement shoot? That might be another story. These images by photographer Bryce Covey of college sweethearts Michael and Olivia, are a good argument for the case. The snow was a spontaneous decision, or rather a decision to not cancel their session after a snowstorm in Seattle. I love how the snow offers a clean backdrop and adds so much natural drama to the photographs. Man-made sets will never be able to compete with the beauty and power of nature.
